Fairtrade Fortnight, 6th-19th March 2006
On 28th November 2005, Birmingham launched itself as a Fairtrade City.
This year, we in Birmingham have even more reason to celebrate Fairtrade Fortnight, to get involved and to keep spreading awareness of the Fairtrade message and getting Fairtrade products into our workplaces, schools, shops, cafes and restaurants.
Birmingham Friends of the Earth and the Warehouse Cafe are planning how we can best recognise Fairtrade Fortnight. Current plans include a re-run of our popular Fairtrade Treasure Hunt - identifying cafes, restaurants and shops in the city centre who stock fairly-traded goods. If you would like to help us or stay informed as our plans come together, then keep an eye on the website or contact us for further details.
