Public Transport Users Forum
Well, it’s been a long time in the planning but thanks to the hard work of colleagues from across the region we can now announce that the West Midlands Public Transport Users Forum will be officially launched on Wednesday 5th May in the Worcester Guildhall. Full details to follow shortly.
The original initiatives of the North Staffordshire Pensioners Forum, beginning with their first meeting with local bus operator First Potteries and subsequent sessions in Stoke, gave rise to further sessions in Stoke and, with huge help from the Rail Passengers Forum and Voluntary Action Stoke on Trent (VAST), we now have a contact database in the thousands.
With luck, once an agreed structure has been finalised, we will have a public transport user representative on the Regional Transport Partnership.
