Sustainability Forum: Plastics recycling

The next Birmingham City Council Sustainability Forum on Wednesday 22nd September will be devoted to the subject of plastics recycling.

The Forum will be held in the Banqueting Suite of the Council House, Victoria Square. Arrive 6.00pm for 6.30pm start. As usual there will be free organic soup and rolls on arrival.

Speakers are:

• Andrew Simmons, Chief Executive Recoup (the National charity developing plastics recycling in the UK);
  
• Malcolm Harold MBA DBA, Senior Consultant, International Manufacturing Centre, University of Warwick;
  
• Tom Hellberg, Architect and Green Party spokes person on land use planning recycling, and incineration;
  
• Phil Brookes, Waste Minimisation Officer-Project Manager for Birmingham City Council Plastic Recycling.
