Gwenny Scott

I have a background in law, compliance and corporate governance and have spent the last 17 years in the NHS, mainly in Birmingham and more recently in Herefordshire and Worcestershire. I have designed and implemented simple and effective governance arrangements for large NHS trusts, small and medium sized companies and an NHS charity.

Now my family is a little older and I have more time, I am keen to use my knowledge, skills and experience to make a difference in an area I care passionately about. I have always been interested in nature and the climate and have tried to contribute in a small way through personal efforts and support for charities. I hope that as part of the Birmingham Friends of the Earth Board and the Society Secretary, my contribution will be greater, by helping the Board and the organisation achieve their goals.
