Saiqa Aslam

I first joined BFoE as a teenager in the 1990s — I remain committed to environmental and social justice issues and have sought to advance this commitment in a variety of paid and voluntary roles in community organisations, including empowerment and leadership projects for women and girls.

I work as a barrister in the fields of family law and regulation. I have a longstanding interest in human rights issues and have worked in the fields of race, religion and gender discrimination.

I recently joined the BFoE board and look forward to working with the team.
