I have campaigned on environmental and social justice issues for as long as I can remember, whether it was supporting campaigns to reclaim the streets 25 years ago in Birmingham, international solidarity work with Colombian activists or more recently action on climate change and a just transition. Having spent most of my career as a lawyer I now work with communities to get their voices heard in discussions about moving to a net zero society. I have been involved in a range of other boards including the Public Law Project, Justice for Colombia and Birmingham Citizens Advice Bureau. As chair of the BFoE Board my role is to ensure that collectively we are able to support and enhance the work of BFoE and the Warehouse to the best of our ability.
