How long have you been volunteering with BFOE?

I have been volunteering since May 2017.

How did you first find out about BFOE and what made you get involved?

I was online searching for volunteering opportunities around my city and I saw that there was an advertisement on do-it.org. I made a decision to volunteer at BFOE because I feel it’s important to look after the environment in which we live and I want to do as much as I can to fulfill this.

What do you do at BFOE?

I am involved in the Climate Refugees and Air Pollution campaigns. I also advertise events, latest campaigns and the organisation through Instagram. Alongside this, I help with campaign resources such as creating and displaying posters, distributing leaflets and office work.

What you you think is the most important environmental issue and why?

Climate change is a serious threat to humans, as well as animals around the globe. Unfortunately, those living in less economical developed countries are most affected with climate change. We all must work together to change our behaviour and not to change the climate.

What’s your best green tip/advice?

Don’t be lazy! Walk or cycle more often. Driving your car to the corner shop will do more harm.
