We are pleased to announce that we will be taking part in the Birmingham Heritage Week on Sunday 15 September. Come and find out how at Birmingham Friends of the Earth we’ve been using our unique heritage building, The Warehouse, in Digbeth to promote and enable “People Power” as a force for positive social and environmental Change.
Doors will open from 10:30am until 3:30pm with tours at 11am, 1pm & 3pm. The event is free and there is no need to book in advance. There is a lift to the first floor and the building is disabled accessible.
Why not make a day of it? While you’re here you can:
- Drop into the Warehouse Café for a drink, snack or lunch and take a look at the Workers Co-operative History Exhibition to explore the stories of the “new wave” of Workers’ Co-operatives founded in the 1970s and 1980s and the people who worked in them.
- Call in to Well Rooted Wholefoods to stock up on wholefoods.
