On Thursday 12 May Friends of the Earth are hosting a visit Professor Julian Agyeman who is the originator of the concept of ‘just sustainabilities ‘, the full integration of social justices and sustainability. He is also the co-author of “Sharing Cities: A case for Truly Smart and Sustainable Cities”.
The book explores how the concept of sharing offers cities the opportunity to connect smart technology to justice, solidarity and sustainability.
Julian will be joining Friends of the Earth at the Impact Hub to discuss the ideas in his book and together explore how we can build on these ideas to deliver a better quality of life and healthier environment in Birmingham.
