Outreach and Event Coordinator Volunteer Vacancy
Do you have experience in event management or public engagement? Are you interested in local environmental issues?
We are looking for an enthusiastic volunteer to help us coordinate our summer stalls and plan a range of exciting events throughout the rest of the year.
We’d love someone to think creatively about our public engagement strategy while managing our annual events calendar. The ideal candidate will feel comfortable coordinating and staffing our busy summer stalls season while also helping us to design, deliver and promote a range of exciting campaign events. They will be full of ideas around how we can use our events to educate, reach new audiences and raise much needed funds.This post is ideal for someone who would like to gain experience of event management or volunteer coordination.
If you’re new to this line of work we can help you develop your skills, or if you’ve already got experience we’d be happy to let you take charge.
Tasks will involve responding to stalls invitations and seeking new opportunities, recruiting volunteers to staff those stalls, coordinating our stalls calendar, helping us design fantastic events, leading on logistics and promotion for those events, working closely with the Campaign Support Worker and the Campaign Leads to ensure that our public engagement is effective and always improving.
