We are writing to you because you have booked one of our rooms in the past – thank you! Your bookings help fund Birmingham FoE’s campaigning work to support bold climate action in our city and beyond and help us keep our quirky old building in top shape.
Warehouse works update
If you booked a room with us during our building works and had any noise
disruption – our apologies! It has been hard to work out where and when
it would be noisy. Thank you for bearing with it and we’re delighted to
say we now have a new roof, refurbished and draughtproofed sash
windows, internal wall insulation and a fabulous new solar array plus
batteries – making the building more comfortable and much greener. Other
measures to follow soon.

working with BRIG (Birmingham Race Impact Group) Cafe to support
improvements to their cafe and catering operations, and thought it would
be a good opportunity to seek feedback from you both
on our own facilities and the Cafe’s catering offer. We’ve kept the
survey as short and simple as possible and would be delighted if you

Alongside
the small task (!) of running the Cafe as a meeting place and events
venue, BRIG are playing a crucial role in challenging the disturbing
rise of the far-right and racism in Birmingham and we stand with them in

Speaking of BRIG Cafe, they have a great new menu in collaboration with Chef Justice from iHeartfood. All vegan, whole-foods based and nutritious and tasty. We particularly recommend the jerk fries and cooked breakfast.

In case you are already thinking about bookings for 2026, our meeting room details can be found here and you can read our current campaigns here. We exist to provide affordable meeting space for grassroots campaigns groups, but rising operational costs do mean we review our prices every year. If you book for 2026 before the end of the year you’ll get bookings for next year at our current prices as a thank-you for booking promptly.
