Student Placements
We are proud to offer placements to university students from across the UK and beyond. Whatever your course, there’s a place for you to make a real difference in Birmingham.
Why do your placement with us?
- Learn new skills, meet new people and make a difference in the fight against climate change.
- Work in person at The Warehouse or on a flexible office/remote basis.
- Get involved in campaign planning, communications, outreach, graphic design, research and more.
- Be supported by our volunteers and Campaigns Support Worker throughout.
How to apply
Email info@birminghamfoe.org.uk with your CV and a covering letter outlining:
- Why you want to do your placement with us
- What you are studying
- What skills you want to develop
- Your placement dates
We’ll arrange an informal chat to find out if we’re the right fit, then put together a tailored placement plan just for you.

Once we’ve had an informal chat and confirmed your placement, we’ll arrange another call to talk through your interests and the skills you want to develop. Each placement is tailored, so your plan will be built around you.
Placements can be in person at The Warehouse in Digbeth, remote, or a mix of both — we’re flexible.
