We’ve signed up to raise money with Localgiving and double all donations on 14th October.
There are lots of ways of supporting Birmingham Friends of the Earth, and one of the best ways is to volunteer on campaigns. However, we realise that this isn’t always possible, as life can quite often get in the way. That’s why we’ve signed up to Localgiving, who will double your donation if you want to stand up for the environment on 14th October.
Here’s how it works:
£10.00 Your donation
+ £10.00 Donation matched by Localgiving
+ £ 2.50 Gift Aid (For UK taxpayers)
£22.50
After a small processing fee, a £10 single donation with Gift Aid means the charity receives £21.54! A £10 donation without Gift Aid means the charity receives £19.16. You can read more about the fees here
If you sign up for a direct debit, then Localgiving will match your donation for the first six months.
Ongoing support is not just financial, but goes much deeper. By supporting us you are allowing us to show those in power how many people share our concern for the environment on which we depend. To do this effectively, we need a strong and diverse supportership that represents the wonderful mix of Birmingham’s communities, ethnicities, genders, religions and politics.
