A New Waste Strategy for Birmingham BFOE 2017
Some people aren’t aware what they can and can’t recycle at their homes. The council could push this problem further but educating them. Also at the household recycling centres (tips) I looked in the non recyclable skips and I could see cardboard, paper, glass, metal and wood they also don’t have a skip for hard plastics. The waste which goes into the incinerator doesn’t get sorted before it gets burnt. And when I see all the litter Pickers on the street they put all the recyclable materials together with general waste and that all gets burnt.
