Are you a skilled graphic designer?
Would you like to create positive environmental change whilst demonstrating your ability to convey deep and meaningful messages?
Can you create lasting impressions with clever visual metaphors and articulate the intrinsic value of our shared environment?
If so then we would love to hear from you!
Birmingham Friends of the Earth campaigns on a wide variety of local, national and global environmental issues, and as a campaigning organisation, visual communication is a vital part of our work.
You will have the opportunity to work in many different mediums and test your skills in photography, illustration, layout, film & web whilst creating leaflets, booklets, posters, web banners, short films and websites.,
All of the briefs that you work on will be live and the results will be used by our volunteer campaigners. You will need to understand and interpret these briefs and communicate your ideas to the appropriate people for feedback.
Whilst a good understanding of graphic and web design is essential, it does not need to be a complete knowledge. If necessary, an experienced graphic and web designer will be on hand to help guide you in your work, lending you technical support and a critical eye to ensure it meets high standards.
