Birmingham is playing host to a huge Climate Change Festival from 31st May to 8th June 2008. The Festival is set to play host to a number of dynamic and interactive events of which many we can recommend.
During the week, Birmingham Friends of the Earth will:
* Host an exhibition for the duration of the event.

* Hold an information stall in Centenary Square on 31st May, 5th June and 7th June.

* Be advising homeowners at the EAGA energy efficiency event on 6th June.
One of the many excellent events taking place during the week includes the United Nations Association of the UK (UNA-UK) free one-day conference on climate change
'The Climate Challenge: a call to action' will take place from 10am to 4pm
on Saturday, 7 June 2008 at Birmingham Council House, Birmingham, B1 1BB
The conference – to feature expert speakers, interactive workshops and information stalls – will evaluate what solutions are needed at the international, national and local levels if the challenge of climate change is to be met with necessary action. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
