On 24th November, as part of the African Climate Connection, there will be a talk and a free viewing of the inspirational film “Taking Root: The Story of Wangari Maathai”. This event has been organised by Friends of the Earth Birmingham in collaboration with Oxfam and Christian Aid, and is a great opportunity to hear more about how to help the world’s poorest communities deal with climate change. Many are suffering as a result of changes to the environment, but there are steps to a more sustainable future. The UN climate talks in Durban are crucial to delivering justice – and you can make this happen.

This month is your chance to challenge Andrew Mitchell, minister for international development, to use his influence and deliver climate justice: your personal message will be delivered to him on 25th November.

The venue will be the Trinity Centre, Church Hill, Mill Street, Sutton Coldfield. The evening will start at 7pm and finish at 9pm. Want to learn, make your voice heard and do something inspirational? Come along on the 24th and join the Stop Climate Chaos Coalition!
