How do we get fair and international binding action on climate? Join Eco-Sutton, Birmingham Friends of the Earth, Equality West Midlands and Christian Aid on 15th October for a fantastic evening discussing international climate action in the run up to the Paris climate talks this December.
We’re heading for a catastrophic 4 degree temperature rise, affecting the poorest most, unless we get strong international action.
With the Paris talks looking unlikely to deliver the strong and equitable deal we need to tackle the problem in a fair and effective way, we discuss what needs to happen for fair international action on climate and how we get it, both in the run up to Paris and beyond.
Our panel of speakers includes Andrew Mitchell (Sutton Coldfield MP), Donna Hume (Friends of the Earth England Wales & Northern Ireland), Mark Letcher (Operation Noah)
The evening will include speeches from the panel as well as contributions from the floor The event starts at 19:00 in St Peter’s Hall, Sutton Coldfield.
We have limited space so please book a place to avoid disappointment.
