Comedian and activist Mark Thomas has shown his support for BFOE and BANG's Flyagra campaign against the proposed expansion of Birmingham International Airport.
At his recent talk and book signing in Birmingham on 14 October he was happy to give the campaign a quick plug and signed one of the Flyagra postcards. FOE campaigner Tim Atkinson was also able to collect lots more signitures from people leaving the event at the Birmingham Conservatoire.
Mark Thomas is famous for his Channel 4 show The Mark Thomas Comedy Product, as well as for his documentaries and books. He has been active in campaigns for greater civil liberties in the UK, as well as campaigns against the arms trade and human rights violations in Colombia and Turkey.
