Last Saturday was the second Moseley Swap Shop and it was even better than the first!
With the weather improving we were able to hold it outside in the garden behind the Prince of Wales this time, which meant more space for all the fantastic free stuff on offer. This certainly brought in the people, too, as there was an even better turnover rate with tables emptying almost as fast as they were filling up.
Next month we are going to combine it with a Green Spring Fair to follow on after the success of our Green Xmas Fair. So, we are looking for stall-holders with eco-friendly products to sell as well as the usual giveaway selection donated by people. In addition, we will be selling some organic food, doing a plant and seed swap and more to be announced.
Our revolution in freetail could also be moving to the city centre soon. We are thinking of holding an event from our HQ in the Warehouse and have also been offered space in a prestigious shopping location where the message of a waste-free lifestyle can reach an even bigger audience.
