Birmingham Friends of the Earth hosted a Tree Planting Ceremony in Small Heath Park on Wednesday 28th November
Speakers of Faith spoke on the importance of the earth to us all and the need to respect our living environment. 

Maud Grainger, co-ordinator of Faith, Climate Change and Birmingham said, This day was really important, to support new trees planted in our parks and as faith communities to mark the connection between us all and our earth. 

This day was supported by Birmingham City Council, Midlands Islamic Network for the Environment, Islamic Relief, Friends of Small Heath Park and Friends of the Earth Birmingham.
